Participation by Danish Researchers in the NIH BRAIN Initiative

Summary/Description

The Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative is a multi-agency effort, with a coordinated contribution from 10 NIH Institutes and Centers (http://braininitiative.nih.gov/).  As part of the NIH BRAIN Initiative, NIH announces a new partnership, formalized by a letter of agreement, with Lundbeckfonden (http://www.lundbeckfoundation.com/) to support the involvement of researchers at Danish institutions in the BRAIN Initiative.  Both NIH and Lundbeckfonden believe that the ambitious goals of the BRAIN Initiative can best be attained by collaboration across disciplinary boundaries as well as geographic boundaries.
